Wow, thats going to save developers some late nights waiting for midnight!
Agreed that developers need to be treated with more predictability/consistency. But Apple has long been moving in the right direction, however slowly.

Thunderbolt is a mini-display-port with a few extra pins.
EDIT: I can't quickly find detailed information, but it may be simply MDP with a more complicated and adaptable controller. Either way, it's not just a re-name, it's a whole new technology that just uses an existing port as its interface.

It looks a little uncomfortable but the flexible displays are getting better. I saw a youtube video of a flexible samsung display. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TDuP8PtDJbE&feature=related
Its a very cool concept though.

It can be pretty tricky, as for orchestral stuff I often use LA scoring strings for strings, East West for brass and woodwinds and symphobia for weirder scoring tools.
As for everything else, there are a load of great Kontakt libraries available, from mellotrons to harpsichords, blues harps to clavs.
Basically I reckon there is no 1 library out there that does it all, so Komplete 7 is a pretty good place to start, you can always add more libraries to it as you go along.
What is your budget? LA scoring strings is over $1000 for instance!

Interesting question. I do not know the answer.
Can you process only the chapters with one ratio and then the others, and then use iMovie to put them together?

If it is an iMac, or in fact, any G3, check to see if there is a firmware update that you need to run.
Also on G3's don't you have to install Mac OS X within the first partition (within the first 8gb)?

Did you order it from Speck's website? What shipping method did you use? Do you have a estimated delivery date? Thanks.
Ordered from Amazon. Shipping was from 2-5 weeks. It's not in stock. I have an est shipping date of May 5, 2011 - May 25, 2011. That's ok, I'm not in any hurry. Plus I get free super saver shipping.

Finder ≠ QuickTime Player.
Finder is for navigating your files, in order to copy files you don't need to open them. Can't you drag them via Finder from the CD onto the Desktop?
Maybe you should take a look here to learn more about Mac OS X and navigating it: Helpful Information for Any Mac User (http://forums.macrumors.com/showpost.php?p=9848667&postcount=6) by GGJstudios (http://forums.macrumors.com/member.php?u=186377)

This is so weird. I mean I have an iPod touch 4th gen, DS, PSP and I've got all my handheld consoles stored away. But I just can't get into iPod gaming. Your fingers get in the way most of the time and it just doesn't feel like a fully polished experience for 99% of games on the App store.
That's because touchscreen interfaces are still a new thing and it's going to take time and trial-and-error to figure out how to best use it for gaming. We're already seeing little moments of brilliance here and there. Have you tried Super MonkeyBall or Myst on iPad? They're right at home--better than in their original platforms.
But most game companies aren't looking at that yet. Right now, we're dealing with a lot of game companies wanting to impose virtual buttons or joysticks on the screen, which IMO, is a kludge. But then a game like Angry Birds comes along and it's a huge hit because they work with the hardware instead of trying to tie it down to the old way of doing things. Imagine playing Angry Birds on a console. What a painful experience that would be. And yet on a touchscreen, it's a pure joy.
Give it time. This touchscreen gaming thing has just started, and it will continue getting better as game companies figure out how to work with the hardware instead of fighting it.

I used to have a Palm m500, my brother has a Zire 71, my dad has a Tungsten E, and none of us feel they were worth buying. Honestly, I'd just use a cell phone for mobile use. My Nokia N-Gage QD was free with a new plan in February, and it syncs with iCal and Address Book perfectly over Bluetooth using iSync. No drivers are needed, either: OS X automatically sends an iSync agent to the phone, it gets installed, and everything works perfectly. If I needed, I could install any number of Symbian OS applications on my phone and it would do just about everything a Palm could. Inputing new data on the go would be more painstaking, though.

Yeah, not the best news for 3GS buyers. That said, I dont think anyone should have buyers remorse with the iP4. The display alone will make the upgrade worth while:) But, (if 3GS isnt on the fritz) waiting till Sept. may not be a bad idea. The A5 is superb.
The screen on my 3G s ended up not functioning twelve days ago and ended up buying a new iPhone 4 because I needed to. I must say that I'm pleased with my phone. The Retina Display on my new phone sure makes a world of a difference compared to my 3G s display.
