Executable code from 3rd party servers?
If this is what iCab did then Apple should have done this a long time ago.

See this thread if you consider the 6870:
http://forums.macrumors.com/showthread.php?t=1127583
However it, seems like there are some glitches vs. a 5870 with no real big performance gain.
I have a 5870 in my 2010 Mac Pro and every game runs perfectly with max settings at about 60-100 fps on my 27" Dell at 2560x1440.

A lot of the times if you don't properly drive a high impedance can, a lot of its sound won't be as tight and crisp as it should, so it's not just the volume output. I remember the first time I heard a high quality tube amp on a HD650 in a store, it was the first time it made a song I really know and like have a bass that sounded like an actual kick drum rather than a soft boom boom noise, I was pretty amazed.

Seems to me it'd be in the normal place, on the wall behind all that mac stuff. Looks like some shade of grey to me.

Thanks for the suggestion. I noticed it has a scheduling feature which is nice and what I've been looking for. I have several other questions in relation to this:
What kind of hardware would I need for this, and what type of internet connection? Would a normal pc or a netbook with an attached higher quality webcam (thinking of going with a higher quality Logitech) be enough? What about bandwidth usage? Wouldn't I need a really fast upload connection if I'm planning on using a direct stream? Cable modem? FIOS? Or is there some service which allows you to stream to them and they relay to your site (similar to Justin.tv or Stream.tv, though I'd prefer not to deal with them in particular)?
I shall try and answer all of these to the best i can, but i can tell you now i'm no possessional on this!(:
I have done this a couple of times now, once just through my built in camera, the quality of the camera, is crap, but when i saw it on the internet i didn't think it was that bad. I have also used a high quality camera (cost me around 50) and the quality was fantastic, did lag at times, but you get that no matter where you go.
So, i would recommend you use an attached camera, but built in ones do work fine.
I'm affraid i don't know the full answer to how much bandwith it was using... HOWEVER, i can tell you that i was uploading it, while on sufering the web, and the effect wasn't that bad. I have also ran it through 3G on my phone, connected to my laptop, and it was OKAY but i couldn't load anything else.
I have allways used a wireless.
Sorry, but i have no experience on the other services, i did try using steam.tv but i got fed up with it.
May i also point out that the audio on it isn't very good.

You'll have to replace the motherboard, unfortunately.

Seems that Safari or network is about 10% what it used to be in speed. I recently add the MacUpdate Spring Promo package, and seems some of the programs are POC. Not sure if this is part of the problem because the slowdown happened beore that install I think.
OK. Used Tech Tool Pro. All smart status checks ok. All 6 disks check ok. So not a disk problem since it happens on all disks.

I think that the 20" iMac is very nice. Have heard many positive reviews about the iMac and this model in particular. Should handle your programs very nicely. I would recommend getting extra RAM if its affordable.

Do you still live at home with your parents, or are you away at school? If you rent an apartment you should be able to buy renters insurance and purchase additional coverage for your gear. I did this while I was away at school and renting an apartment. It was only a few extra bucks a month for the extra coverage. If you still live with your parents they can buy additional coverage on their property insurance.

As I said, you need to be explicit about what it is you have and the result you want. For instance...
I have a dictionary that I'd like to use with a UIPickerView to select two values from and display in two UILabels in my app. The dictionary key is a string to be displayed in the first component of the picker. The dictionary value for each key is an array of strings. When the left component changes, I'd like the second component to reflect the appropriate values for the key. Finally, I'd like to use the selected values with my labels.
And yes, current code sample can help and is often asked for because it can make clearer what problem a person is having. When you supply code, wrap it in the CODE tags.

I put on order for the i7 and the 2Gig Video Card, would this machine handle somewhat serious gaming within 2 years time frame,
The 6970 card is 2 years old, since it can handle current games fairly decently, it will definitely not in 4 years (it would make it a 4 year old card).

GodFather has been getting ok reviews but is basically the PS2 game with a bit of waggle
Cooking Mama - has been getting 'AWFUL' reviews
Blazing Angels - has sucked the ass on all formats - wii is meant to be no different.

Anyway, will see if I can 'appropriate' a couple of extra t-shirts for my fellow Tokyo based MacRumor colleagues who can't attend! Probably not possible, but I did get some extra stuff when Tiger came out
Alas, I'm in Chiba-ken and working AND I already reflexively pre-ordered
the feline but I'd REALLY like a T-shirt!
I'm sure all the Maccites who get them wont want to part with them but
if you do I'd be really grateful I'm dying for some Mac t-shirtness!

Initial things I have noticed where L3 has the edge over A3:
Lens correction. I am an UWA junky, especially during the reception on the dancefloor. Being able to apply a preset correction to all my UWA shots is a godsend.
NOISE! I did some side by side comparisons of the noise removal tools, and L3 blows it out of the water. ESPECIALLY in darker OOF areas.
Consistency. L3 "just works" as far as I can tell.
I hate having my raw files constrained in a "Library" file in A3. Love the desktop hierarchy system in L3.
Hmm I don't have my RAWs in a Library at all in Aperture... as a matter of fact most of the time mine aren't even connected or online. Noise I have to give you... that is true.
Sorry to hear about your experience but well.. ***** happens I guess :)
GHood luck with LR. I tried twice to move to LR..no luck. While it has some compelling features, the whole layout is just fubared and with the price that A3 costs plus ptlens and noise ninja you get better tools that LR at a lower price :).. that is if you buy it, which most people dont :)

If I remember correctly I needed the jumper on 1.5 for my xserve but I left everything alone on all the other xserves even my g5. I want to say something else about my old trusty g5....it have a slightly faster network transfer rate than all my other xserves
OK I tried a 3tb Hitachi in my 2009 xserve and it only reports 2.2tb, so I think 2.2 is the limit.

I'm not necessarily waiting for Lion to come pre-installed, just waiting to see what Apple announces at WWDC.
And I'm not waiting for it to actually be installed in the iMac itself. I prefer the drop-in DVD.

There could be other reasons its only working after a restart... That's why I was looking for another answer besides one reply...
So unless you have no input be on your way..
What if I needed my computer and couldn't have it gone for a week for some ****** superdrive...
It's pretty pathetic I pay 1000+ for this Macbook, and a month later the cheap ass cd drive fails.
it's pretty pathetic that you aren't taking the advice that you obviously don't wanna hear but NEED to hear. if there was another reason for it, someone would have helped you BY NOW. but you know what, nobody has. so how about you be on your way, to the damn store.
