Also, I'm wondering how much they pay him, considering his statements of being paid well... ..i guess it is Apple...
I talked with Cut Chemist (new Nano ad music) at his Apple Store appearance a few weeks ago. He said that Apple paid him very little for the usage of his song but has been giving him tons of free gear.

It says "Live Broadcast" for me. Having worked in TV for the past 15 years, that usually means it's a live broadcast.
Well, tell me once it starts... I bet you never get your "live broadcast". I think they had something there for a short while to test the link, but that's it.

The white iPhone buys Apple some time to get that iPhone 5 release ready for fall. That and it helps them float/Pad their summer quarter.
Releasing a white iPhone might smack of desperation but this is just the drawn out version of the iPod story. Eventually now when the market is saturated with both Black and White iPhones we will begin to see colors!!! Then, the product line splits and we get iPhone Nanos!

This doesn't affect MobileMe syncing between Macs and iOS devices correct?
Correct. Apple is switching MobileMe to CalDav I believe, so all your Apple devices should still sync. Outlook doesn't support CalDav so once the switch happens you won't be able to sync Outlook with MobileMe.

wonder how this effects people(me) with a 4-5 week window that ordered last week ?
You can answer that question best.
Check your order status. If nothing has changed, well, you have your answer.

If it turns out to be only a software issue I will eat my iPhone 4.
It is a hardware issue to all the people defending Apple (I am a fanboy by the way). Apple is adding an internal bumper into the iphone (or so it was reported). Why would they do this? Duh, it's a hardware issue. However, I am not sure what this will do as it happens when the outside of the antenna is touched.
The only way to solve this is issue is to give out free bumpers or cases to all iPhone 4 owners. Apple gave everyone a $100 "rebate" when they lowered the price of the first iPhone months after it was released.
And BTW the bumpers do nothing to protect the iPhone 4 from drops, now you know why they were created.
Look at it this way 1.7 million iPhones x $29.00 per bumper = $49,300,000. Thats an extra $49.3 million to make the iPhone 4 work as intended. This is piss poor business ethics.

Only tangentially related to our different cultures, but this does fit better here than anywhere else.
I was driving somewhere the other day, and I heard this in a radio commercial:
Do ugly brown spots on your hands feel like the end of the world?I got very dark. And thought, "No, ugly brown spots on your hands do not feel like the end of the world. You know what feels like the end of the world?
"An earthquake followed by a tsunami followed by a nuclear meltdown. That's what feels like the end of the world!"
****in' morons.

Looking at the info tab in the app, one person spamming one location has less effect than multiple people sending reports. It looks like AT&T will aggregate the data and will look for a cluster.
My question is, is it resonable to expect AT&T to try to improve service inside stores?
Hard to say. Sometimes, it's a structural design that causes the lack of service. Look up the general principles of a Faraday cage: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Faraday_cage

It think what many of us feel (most of us?) is that iCal's a little useless without being integrated into Mail. Having to shuttle back and forth is inefficient. The little "shortcuts" (hacks) that Apple seems to be using make it even more annoying in my opinion. They don't want to go head to head with entourage, I get it, but until you do, iCal gets deleted from my machine.
I disagree. I like how its seperate. What could you possibly need to sync between Mail and iCal anyways..... Event invties... ohh wait that works. I believe its better to have 3 seperate programs instead of entourage... that way you can be more efficient with your use. Like for instance, when I use my laptop in class I close Mail... cause I don't have Internet, but I still need iCal. So its perfect. I mean the only downside is that you have to click to open two apps. I don't see anything else. WHat can you integrate between the two other than contacts which is its own program.
I think its perfect how it is. I would love to see new features, new features are always great; I just can't think of any. Ohh I know one. Making things in iCal have links to documents so if a To-Do is to like finish a project.. u can link to the files so its all there, due date, importance, notes, location of files. And maybe they could work on the calendars (categories). Smart calendars would be nice. And more flexibility with calendars. I don't really see any other problems. I'm sure there are I'm just not that good at looking.

LOL @ Princeton - A mere 10th in world university rankings. Far from the impressive 9th of Imperial College :D
Muh? (http://ed.sjtu.edu.cn/rank/2006/ARWU2006_Top100.htm)
Princetonians, in my experience, are fratboys, prudes, and associated squares--by far the worst of the Ivies.

You really think apple is going to let you store music that you didn't buy from them for free? My guess is all music purchased from iTunes can be streamed, and mobile me users can upload theirs.
Another post afflicted with apple content profits fallacy. The ONLY reason apple will restrict it to only new purchases is because of music company licensing restrictions. As the recent numbers revealed, apple makes a pittance on the iTunes store. At least the folks displaying this fallacy with apps have the fair argument that promoting app sales makes the iOS platform sticky. With the absolutely drm free music sold in the iTunes store, there is no advantge for apple to sell music.
This also ignores apple's history completely. One reason media companies hated apple was because they added cd ripping software straight in their flagship music player software. But not just that, they promoted the Mac by marketing its ability to easily rip music CDs.

I'm in the same boat. I'm using a 3G with cracked screen and other issues. I originally wanted the white iPhone 4, but held out and decided to just wait until the 5. Now that the white 4 is definitely coming out and the 5 is possibly delayed I am thinking about grabbing the white 4. I will be really disappointed if the 5 ends up coming out in June/July though. It doesn't seem likely, but you never know. I figure I'll see what the latest rumors are at the time of the white launch - assuming there isn't anything pointing to a summer release of the 5, I'm just going to go for it.
Plus you can just sell the 4 on ebay or something, if the iPhone 5 comes out soon there after. It'll fetch the same price or a little less than the iPhone 5's non-contract price. So you can just buy a non-contract iPhone 5 and use that as the hardware on your current iPhone line. It's one way to get around renewing your contract for 2 more years and paying fees.

As "engineers" (their words, not mine) I find it incredulous (ie. B.S.) that they are surprised that 2 MB file of pure ascii text was so large and retained so much information.
Think about that for a second. 2 megs of text.
I currently have a 50 page word file (which contains a ton of formatting) that comes in about 100K.

She'll be back online before the end of the weekend, router/Internet issues.
Wow!
One question, are you using just the one PSU? I'm guessing you'll be running it pretty close to the limit for 24*7, especially if the cards are OCed.
Good luck!

Why won't they just give the cpu sku, it would make it much easier to compare than ghz values, with turbo, ht, vt enabled and what not.

21 inch high = ?
